Hi there,

I'm Jenna Loz, LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor).

Chill, authentic, inclusive.

My unique integrative approach includes EMDR and Animal-Assisted Therapy to support healing in a way that respects your unique strengths and pace.

I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where individuals who tend to get in their own head can feel fully seen and supported.

Why Work With Me?

Choosing a therapist is personal — and you deserve someone who brings both compassion and expertise to the work.

Here’s what I bring to our sessions:

  • Master of Science in Community and Trauma Counseling – Grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed care

  • Certified in EMDR Therapy (EMDRIA) – A powerful, research-backed approach for healing trauma, anxiety, and attachment wounds

  • Animal-Assisted Play Therapy® & Canine-Assisted Intervention (in training) – Incorporating the healing presence of animals into therapy for emotional safety and nervous system regulation

  • Specialized Focus in Safety and Attachment – Creating space for deep, identity-affirming healing in relationships, intimacy, and self-trust

I work with adults navigating trauma, high stress, neurodivergence, and relational challenges. My approach is warm, inclusive, and grounded in the belief that healing happens when you feel safe enough to be fully yourself.

How did Jenna get here?

  • Jenna Loz, LPC’s path to clinical work is rooted in lived experience and a lifelong commitment to accessibility and mental health advocacy. Growing up as a caregiver for a sibling on the autism spectrum, she entered the world of disability advocacy early, helping to launch one of the first multi-sensory room accommodations for amusement parks in 2016—an initiative that later expanded nationally. This work laid the foundation for her passion for inclusive, trauma-informed care.

While pursuing degrees in Fine Arts and Psychology, Jenna developed and led a literacy-through-art program at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. She later taught undergraduate and graduate courses in art, psychology, and sensory-inclusive design, including a multidisciplinary pilot course on creating multi-sensory spaces for schools, hospitals, and playgrounds.

  • Jenna began her clinical career working full-time in an acute inpatient psychiatric unit during the COVID-19 pandemic. She advanced to providing emergency psychiatric evaluations in the ER, collaborating closely with psychiatrists to assess risk and determine the appropriate level of care for individuals in crisis.

In Philadelphia, Jenna served on the city’s pilot mobile crisis response team for the 988 mental health line, offering trauma-informed, non-carceral support in community settings. She also worked as a school counselor in a charter school focused on LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent students, and contributed to outpatient care in rural Pennsylvania with teens and families.

  • In 2023, Jenna founded Partly Cloudy Counseling, where she initially focused on treating survivors of sexual assault and childhood abuse through the Victims Compensation Assistance Program (VCAP). Today, her private practice supports a diverse range of clients navigating trauma, identity, neurodivergence, anxiety, and more.

With a deep understanding of systems, crisis care, and creative therapeutic approaches, Jenna provides warm, inclusive support to help clients heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves.
